We are recruiting: Chair to the board of trustees

We are recruiting: Chair to the board of trustees

Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) is a friendly team of people, working with survivors of sexual violence. We aim to improve health and wellbeing, help survivors cope better, and to leave feeling informed, empowered and safe.

We are recruiting a new chair to our board of trustees. This role is a great opportunity to do rewarding work within a feminist organisation supporting survivors, and to give back to the local community. It is an opportunity to develop leadership skills and work with a great team of trustees.

The overall purpose of this role is to provide leadership and direction to the board of trustees, as well as aid CSASS in completing the aims, objectives and goals of the organisation.

For any enquiries, or the contact details of the current chair, please email info@csass.org.uk , or you can download the application pack.

CSASS are committed to being a women-led organisation, and this role is open to women only. For more information, please see our equality policy.

To make effective decisions, our board needs a diversity of viewpoints. We are particularly seeking people of colour and the global majority. Trustees would welcome more young people, and members of the LGBTQ+ and disability communities. CSASS especially values lived experience on our board.
