#webelieveyou sticker campaign
During North West Sexual Violence Awareness Week, CSASS are launching the #webelieveyou campaign. Vicki (CSASS Support Line Lead) and CSASS volunteers will be visiting countryside pubs and cafes across Cheshire, with stickers to put up in public toilets. The stickers will promote the Support Line and Live Chat services available on Monday & Wednesday 6-8pm 0808 284 0484.
The confidential, anonymous listening service is available for all adult survivors of sexual abuse. The CSASS support line has helped many survivors; “Talking to someone who believed me and telling me, it is not my fault, helped me so much” said one survivor.
One survivor described ‘escaping’ to the toilets on an occasion when she felt ‘at a loss about what to do next’. She saw the answer straight in front of her. She was able to contact CSASS and knew she would be listened to. At CSASS #webelieveyou.
If you would like to help get the stickers into a local café, restaurant or pub near you, please contact us and we can post them out to you. We are especially keen to reach out to survivors living and working in towns and villages outside Chester. Stickers continue to be one of the main ways survivors first hear about CSASS support. They really do make a difference.
