Sessional Counsellors Required

The Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service is looking for qualified BACP registered counsellors to join our team in a self-employed sessional capacity.

CSASS is a registered charity that transforms the lives of adult survivors of rape and sexual abuse, helping them to feel supported and safe. We offer face to face specialist counselling from our Covid-19 safe premises in Chester City Centre and remote working for telephone and online counselling.

We are looking for qualified BACP registered counsellors to join our team in a self-employed sessional capacity. Counsellors must have at least two years’ post-qualification experience working with survivors of sexual abuse.

Counsellors will deliver counselling, contribute to CPD and support meetings, and may also carry out initial therapeutic assessments.

• All work is offered on a sessional basis. Monday – Friday (daytime and evenings)
• Renumeration: £25 per hour
• Funding for sessional work is secure until April 2021
• Enhanced DBS check is required

The deadline for applications is Friday, August 14.
