Tuesday 14th June 2022, 6:30pm, at The Church, Chester
Come along to The Church bar in Chester on June 14th and hear all about what CSASS has achieved this year (as well as other exciting AGM business). Plus a performance from fantastic comedian Kate McCabe.
Everyone is welcome, including new members.
Please feel free to invite friends, family, and colleagues. The AGM is for CSASS members, but we’d love to welcome new supporters to join our community on the door.
We are delighted to announce that feminist comedian Kate McCabe will be returning to the CSASS AGM again this year. Kate entertained us all at our last ‘in-person’ meeting in 2019 and enjoyed it so much we just can’t keep her away!
Kate McCabe has been gigging on this side of the Atlantic for several years after starting her comedy career in NYC. She also performs with improv troupe ComedySportz Manchester and regularly appears on Fab Radio’s The Gay Agenda and on Gaydio’s The Exchange. When she’s not working, she enjoys comic books, Playstation, snacking, and nap-time.
The Church bar and restaurant in Chester is a beautiful venue, set inside a converted church. This will be the second time that the CSASS AGM has been hosted here as the venue is situated right in the centre of Chester, and is fully accessible.
They have a fantastic selection of drinks and food which you are welcome to try on the night.
CSASS is becoming a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation)
The Charity Commission has been encouraging charities to switch over to one of the new models, so CSASS will be switching from a Registered Charity to a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). We’ll be asking members to approve this at the AGM. Have a read about the changeover beforehand on the link below. Please do get in touch with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you there!
