We are recruiting: Supportline Lead

Deadline extended to 30th of May

Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) is a friendly team of people, working with survivors of sexual violence. We aim to improve health and wellbeing, help survivors cope better, and to leave feeling informed, empowered and safe.

We are recruiting a supportline lead to help our volunteers deliver a safe and effective service. The role will also ensure provision of emotional support to clients on our counselling waiting list.

The post is permanent and part-time (8 hours per week)  £23,077 – £25,989 pro rata.  Working hours include Monday and Wednesday evenings, with some flexible hours through the week.

For an application pack or any enquiries please email suzanne@csass.org.uk , or you can download the Application form, Job Description and Terms and Conditions here.

Application closing date is Monday 30th May 2022.

CSASS are committed to providing women-only spaces and services (in addition to inclusive spaces and services).  This role requires direct delivery of some women-only services and regular work within women-only spaces. As such, this role is open only to women as a genuine occupational requirement. Please see our equality policy.

To effective deliver impactful services to all survivors, our team needs a diversity of viewpoints. We are particularly seeking people of colour and the global majority. We would welcome more young people, and members of the LGBTQ+ and disability communities.

The successful applicant for the post will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check.
