On a very hot evening a week or so ago, some of our  volunteers, staff and trustees enjoyed a summer thank you event, very kindly hosted by Chester Art Centre, who were incredibly welcoming and plied us with amazing watermelon mocktails. We chatted and laughed and tried our hands at bongo drumming too. And now it’s not long until our next Craftivism event, at Alexander’s in Rufus Court, 12 pm till 2 pm on Saturday 13th August. Plus we’re planning for our public participatory art event on August 25th, 4.30 pm till 7 pm. We’ll be on the grass outside Chester Cathedral (by kind permission of the Cathedral) inviting members of the public to join us in creating a temporary art installation on the theme of creating new futures. As ever, if you’d like more information about any of this, just get in touch.
