Taking that first step into telling another person about memories or present events that are troubling you can be very difficult. We appreciate how hard that can be.
We want to help you. Our promise is that we will provide you with a safe and confidential environment where you will be supported. Our counsellors will not hurry you or judge you as you find the words to say what’s on your mind. They will help you to explore your thoughts and feelings about your experiences and consider how you can move forward into a less troubled future.
Our counsellors are qualified to a minimum of Diploma level, with a wealth of experience and skills. They will help you work through the difficulties you are facing.
Each counselling session lasts for 50 minutes and will normally be the same day and time every week, with the same counsellor.
You may want to come for just a few sessions or you may decide to continue over several weeks or months. You and your chosen counsellor can talk this through and decide what is best for you.
Counselling is currently offered on the following days and times:
We are also able to offer day time appointments during office hours.
We keep Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays as women-only space.
If you would like to make an appointment then please phone us on 01244 307499
We will arrange for you to come in to discuss your requirements and then put you in touch with a counsellor specially selected to suit your needs.
Remember, if you have experienced any form of sexual abuse or violence at any time in your life, it is not your fault. The fault lies with the person who abused you.
